Sedanz offers a higher level of chauffeuring for our clients called Secure Chauffeurs. A Secure Chauffeur is NOT a bodyguard or an Executive Protection Agent. Instead, a Secure Chauffeur takes the best parts of an executive protection agent that do not involve actual “protection” in the traditional sense and blends it with the highest skilled chauffeurs we have in our team. So how do our executive chauffeurs perform as secure chauffeurs for our principals’?
discretion
A Secure Chauffeur understands there’s an invisible veil of professionalism between the principal passenger and the secure chauffeur. The Secure Chauffeur will keep all discussions the principal may have in the vehicle with others with the utmost discretion. The secure chauffeur will sweep the vehicle in between all stops to ensure the principal has not left anything such as documents or cell phones behind that can otherwise be used against the principal.
preplanning
Our Secure Chauffeurs will not only plan the routing trip based on the principal’s itinerary, but will also rehearse the trip to ensure no additional obstacles will impede the principal’s ground travel. A Secure chauffeur will “recon” all drop off locations to ensure the principal has the best access to the vehicle while the secure chauffeur stages in between locations such as 5 star hotel or an office building. The Secure Chauffeur will only use GPS to navigate around traffic and plan for alternative routes in the event of obstructions, traffic or protests along the way
risk mitigation
So how can a Secure chauffeur mitigate the risk for a principal? As it turns out, ground travel is one of the areas a Principal is most susceptible to risk. Therefore, a Secure Chauffeur will transport a principal in order to avoid friction, such as a protest in front of an office building, or navigate around a hotel which may have press waiting for the principal which the principal may want to avoid. Other use cases involve avoiding protestors or other suspicious activity. A Secure Chauffeur is always aware of their surroundings, always planning around situations that may involve friction the principal will need to avoid.

A Principal may or may not be well known (famous) that in some cases, a bodyguard or EPA (executive protection agent) may be overkill for a principal and they simply don’t want to be shadowed, followed or tailed on their every move. A Secure Chauffeur offers that utmost in privacy without attracting much attention to a principal who simply wants to move around like “normal civilian”. We have clients who do require high levels of privacy either because they’re well known or may have a high level of wealth that “blending in” is a better option for these types of principals.
extensive driving experience
A Secure Chauffeur not only can drive any vehicle (like our vehicle of choice, A Mercedes S-Class) but has demonstrated they know the best in routing, city knowledge, driving with motorcades, and able to adapt to changing driving conditions. Examples of those driving conditions involve but not included to changes in weather (roads icing), crowds (such as protestors or civil unrest), and sudden changes to the principals itineraries (such as landing/taking off at different FBOs)

The most discerning travelers tend to travel to different locations worldwide. However, a principal may not be able to use their private house chauffeur to all the places they travel. This is mostly due to the private house chauffeur may need to stay behind to transport the rest of the family at home around while the principal travels. Therefore, our secure chauffeur is the perfect asset to a principal’s security team while they travel to places such as NYC. A Secure Chauffeur is also the perfect complement to a principal’s executive protection agent should a principal already travel with one at all times.

Perhaps our best all around feature and why we have turned first time customers to repeat clients is because of our personalization. Our clients tend to get familiar with our chauffeurs and vice versa and creates a level of trust that can’t be provided by just any car service.
